Bio
I'm Alegria Polit, an artist born and raised in Ecuador.
My artistic journey began at 15, exploring watercolors with my Scottish teacher, Isobel Calderwood. At 18, Italy became my artistic haven, where | delved into ancient techniques like gold leaf gilding and fresco painting, and honed my sculpting skills at the Botega d'arte of Mario Pachioli in Florence.
For 16 years, Switzerland was my canvas, hosting numerous exhibitions. Now, I call Monaco home, where I’ve been immersed in creating my Vibes Beyond the Sea series as well as "My Gold" TV Series-capturing moments that transcend the bounds of time.
At 55, my passion for art only intensifies. My atelier in Monaco is a sanctuary, where creativity flourishes unhinged by the constraints of time.
